Simply Language Arts Lessons

With this year's Christmas School up and ready for purchase, I have shifted my focus back to creating things for language arts lessons. Formally known here as Beyond Literature, I am rebranding it Simply Language Arts so as not to be confused with another curriculum by that name and also to be able to expand into things besides literature.

I'm breaking things apart to separate lessons and activities this time, but I still intend to provide a bundling option.

I want a guaranteed timeline for these units, but it isn't possible. My goal, however, is to get them out as soon as possible but ensure they are of the quality students need to learn from. The first three to four units should be out fairly quickly, as they were where I had most portions completed when I stopped working on them last summer. I will also sprinkle in some alternative book report options and lists as they are completed.

So far, these are the units I have planned to make:

  1. Types of Literature

  2. Elements of Literature

  3. Setting

  4. Characters

  5. Characterization

  6. Dialogue

  7. Point of view

  8. Conflicts

  9. Plot

  10. Authors vs Narrators

As each full unit (lesson and activities) is completed, I plan to write a blog post outlining the highlights of each lesson.

I look forward to creating these units, as my passion has always been the subject of English/Language Arts. As always, keep following our journey on our Facebook Page or Instagram. If you want more in-depth conversations, check out our Facebook Parent Group.
