Mouse is 10 years old entering into the fifth grade at the start of our 2021 school year. We will be continuing the same curriculum from last year, as they all seem to fit really well with her. We are going to continue studying American history using Sonlight History/Bible/Literature Core E American History Part 2, Sonlight Readers E and their American History II Lap Book. I will also be adding into the readers again this book from the American Girl History Books Series.
We will resume using Math U See Delta, where we left of last year and hope to complete it this year. I also have Epsilon in case we should finish with Delta earlier than I have scheduled.
For Language Arts we will again be using resources from IEW. We will begin book two of Fix It Grammar: Robin Hood. We will also finish Writing Student Writing Intensive A, and then move onto the themed book All Things Fun and Fascinating. With spelling we will finish All About Spelling Level 4 sometime in the beginning of the year and then start right into Level 5 once we have finished. Copy work will also continue with Exploring Handwriting through US Geography and Through Scripture (cursive), which I mentioned in our post on Monday about our combined curriculum choices.
